Devadiga praised Alireza Mirzaian for his sharp game awareness and tactical intelligence, noting his ability to manipulate referees and make impactful plays. For Gujarat Giants, the main reason for their defeat against Haryana Steelers was a tactical error by their captain Mohammadreza Shadloui. With Haryana down to five players, Shadloui chose to raid despite Rakesh, a more experienced raider, being available. This decision backfired as Shadloui was tackled, ultimately turning the match in Haryana’s favor.
Devadiga emphasized that careful decision-making in crucial moments is vital, as both captaincy and strategic player deployment heavily influenced the results. Meanwhile, Bengaluru Bulls’ Head Coach BC Ramesh’s experimentation with his starting seven, especially using Ganesha as the second raider alongside Alireza, proved effective and contributed to their fourth consecutive win, highlighting the importance of tactical adjustments in the league.
