Just like the striker’s relentless pursuit of excellence, Skechers has unveiled its first-ever Harry Kane Player Edition boot — the SKX_1.5 — to celebrate the England and Bayern Munich star’s outstanding achievements. The release comes after Kane clinched the 2024 European Golden Boot and became the first Englishman to score 10 goals in a single Champions League campaign.
He debuted the boots on April 4 against FC Augsburg. Designed with red and white tones to reflect his ties with Bayern Munich and England, the boot also features gold detailing to signify his Golden Boot success. Notably, 36 golden plus symbols on the upper mark Kane’s 36-goal debut Bundesliga season, which earned him the league’s Top Scorer title. The boot carries his signature and was developed in collaboration with Skechers to mirror his values—constant improvement and hard work.
The SKX_1.5 is available in both Academy and Youth versions in the Philippines, making it accessible to aspiring players of all ages. According to Skechers VP Greg Smith, Kane’s legacy as their first elite football ambassador made him the natural choice for this landmark release.
