After the intense clash at the SMS Indoor Stadium in Jaipur, Haryana Steelers secured a narrow 40-37 victory over Gujarat Giants in their Pro Kabaddi League season 12 encounter. Skipper Jaideep Dahiya led from the front, completing a High Five, while Shivam Patare contributed nine raid points and three tackle points. Vinay added eight raid points, and the Steelers’ five Super Tackles proved decisive in the contest. Gujarat Giants relied heavily on Rakesh Sungroya, who achieved a Super 10 with fourteen points, but his efforts were not enough.

The match began aggressively, with Vinay and Rakesh exchanging points before Shubham Kumar tackled Shivam Patare on a Do-or-Die raid, giving the Giants an early lead. Haryana responded through Sahil Narwal’s Super Tackle, followed by Jaideep and Shivam’s defensive efforts that put the Steelers ahead 11-8 after the first quarter. Despite Gujarat leveling at 14-14 with an All Out on the Steelers, Haryana regained control with Shivam and Jaideep leading raids and tackles, extending their lead to 25-20 by halftime.

In the second half, both teams traded points, but Haryana maintained composure, with Rahul Ahri, Rahul Sethpal, Shivam, and Sahil combining to keep the Giants at bay. Vinay’s late raid sealed the hard-fought victory, allowing the defending champions to emerge triumphant in a thrilling encounter.
