Match-ups in cricket are always interesting with some batters carrying awful records against a particular bowler. Jaydev Unadkat dismissed Sunil Narine for the fourth time in six IPL games during the SRH vs KKR game and Harshal Patel reminded his teammate about the fact with a bunny celebration.

‌With both teams looking to end their miserable Indian Premier League 2025 campaign with a win, Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper Pat Cummins decided to bat first and put a good score on a batting-friendly wicket at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Sunday. The decision proved right as Heinrich Klaasen went all-guns with a 37-ball century and Travis Head chipped in with a fifty to help Sunrisers Hyderabad to a gigantic 278/3.

It was then left to the SRH bowlers to restrict Kolkata Knight Riders batters, especially their openers Sunil Narine and Quinton de Kock, from getting a whirlwind start. But the West Indies all-rounder did exactly that, smashing two sixes in Cummins’ first over to get the chase rolling. The left-handed batter then scored a six and a four in Cummins’ next over to quickly move to 27 off just 14 balls.

With Cummins sharing the ball with Jaydev Unadkat keeping in mind his impressive head-to-head record against Narine threw the ball to the left-arm pacer for a second over. After edging a full-length delivery over the short-third fielder in the second ball of the fourth over, Narine aimed to go big again off the very next ball.

Unadkat, anticipating what was in store, outfoxed the batter with a slower off-cutter as the ball reached him after his wild swing. The sound of timber delighted Unadkat and his SRH teammates as Narine started his long walk back to the dugout. The head-to-head record after the dismissal read four wickets in six matches as Harshal Patel came running towards Unadkat with both his hands and outstretched fingers resembling a bunny.

Twitter was in splits with Harshal’s celebration as they appreciated Unadkat’s wonderful record over Narine.
