After defeating the San Francisco Unicorns in the Eliminator by a narrow margin of two wickets, Nicholas Pooran’s MI New York will face the Texas Super Kings in the second qualifier of the ongoing Major League Cricket 2025. Dallas’ Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium will host this must-win game for both teams.

MI New York has been enjoying a decent run of form in their last five games in the tournament, with three wins and two defeats. They recently defeated the Unicorns in the Eliminator following a 6-wicket defeat against the Washington Freedom in their last league match. Pooran’s men will aim to win this match secure their spot in the tournament’s summit clash.

On the other hand, the Faf du Plessis-led Texas Super Kings are coming off an abandoned game in the first qualifier against the Washington Freedom. The better ranking of the Freedom helped them in the straight qualification for the title clash while the Super Kings have to play the second qualifier to ensure their spot in the final with a win against MI New York.
