Virat opened up on the topics during YouWeCan charity event in London

Virat Kohli was seen spending time with former India teammate Yuvraj Singh during a charity event in London. The former India skipper opened up on many topics, including his retirement from Test cricket and his bond with the destructive southpaw during the early years of his career.
Virat Kohli, though retired from Test cricket and is not part of the ongoing England tour, is still making headlines with his public appearances. The former India skipper was seen witnessing a Wimbledon match with his wife and was also part of a charity event organized by the YouWeCan foundation, run by former India legend and two-time World Cup winner Yuvraj Singh.
Popular cricket broadcaster Gaurav Kapoor was present at the event in London to ask questions surrounding Kohli, including reasons behind his retirement from Test cricket and the bond he shares with Yuvraj.
“I just coloured my beard two days ago. You know it's time when you are colouring your beard every four days," Kohli on his retirement from Test cricket.
“We shared a very good bond both on and off the field. I met him (Yuvraj) for the first time during a North Zone tournament in Bangalore. When I started playing for India, he, Bhajju Pa and Zaheer Khan took me under their wings. They really helped me grow as a player and made me comfortable in the dressing room,” Kohli explained about his bond with former teammate Yuvraj.
Kohli also opened up on the fun times he had in the dressing room with the 43-year-old former Indian all-rounder and talked about the iconic moments in his journey.
“A Lot of fun times off the field, and they made me aware of the lifestyle of getting to the top. These are the bonds I will cherish for the rest of my life. Watching him in the World Cup was very special and what we got to know after that was a shock. Being so close to him... we had no idea. Then his battle with cancer and again the champion that he is... coming on top and making a comeback to the team when I was leading the team,” Kohli added.
