They defeated the South Delhi Superstarz by five wickets in the tournament opener before losing to the Lions by seven wickets. The fifth game of their campaign, against the South Delhi Superstarz, was washed off due to rain. Later, they registered three wins in a row against the Lions and Purani Delhi 6. Their ninth game, against the Strikers, was also called off due to rain in Delhi. The Riders lost the top spot in their last league match owing to their huge 62-run defeat against the eventual table toppers, Central Delhi Kings.
