After the first three losses of Season 12, Patna Pirates finally registered their first win with a commanding 48-37 victory over table toppers Puneri Paltan at the Vishwanadh Sports Club in Visakhapatnam. The star of the night was young raider Ayan Lohchab, who scored an impressive 21 points, including a Super Raid that eliminated Gurdeep, Vishal Bhardwaj, Aditya Shinde, and later Gaurav Khatri. His early domination set the tone as Patna quickly inflicted their first ALL OUT on Puneri Paltan, leading 15-4 by the first half-time break.

The Pirates maintained control throughout the first half, with skipper Ankit and defender Deepak Sankar contributing with successful tackles. Ayan completed a Super 10 by halftime, and the score stood at 27-10, highlighting the team’s dominance. In the second half, the Pirates struck again with a third ALL OUT early on, as Ayan continued to add crucial points by taking down Aslam and Milad Mohajer.

Milan Dahiya supported with key raids on Abinesh Nadarajan and Vaibhav Rabade, while Puneri Paltan’s efforts, led by Aditya Shinde, could not bridge the gap. Despite a late ALL OUT against the Pirates, Patna’s lead proved unassailable. Contributions from Ankit, Milan, Deepak, and Navdeep helped secure a comfortable 11-point victory, ending the team’s losing streak and giving them momentum for the rest of the season.
