Jaipur Pink Panthers snapped Bengal Warriors with a stellar 36-33 win at their home ground Sawai Mansingh stadium, Jaipur. Nitin Madane’s 8 points went in vain as Jasvir Singh with 13 points and Shabeer Bapu with an all round performance guided the Jaipur Pink Panthers to 2nd in the table.

Shabeer Bapu amassed 10 points in the match. He had two super tackles and a super raid. He was assisted well by Rajesh Narwal and Tushar Patil each scoring 3 points.

Nitin Madane, and the Bengal defense, restored parity and the game was swinging like a pendulum in the first half.  However, Bengal could not get an all out, although, they reduced Jaipur to two men in the first half as Shabeer Bapu caught Ravi Dalal in a super tackle. Eventually, Jaipur were all out in the first half, and at the end of 20 minutes the scores were 14-16 in favor of the warriors.

The star of the half, Jasvir Singh, continued his good form and rounded off the half with 6 points in 8 raids, as the Jaipur Pink Panthers came back just after the break and led the Bengal Warriors 17-14.

The second half saw Jasvir Singh continue his good work. Though, he was tackled twice in this half, he did enough damage to his rivals. The Jaipur Pink Panthers defence also did not lag behind. Led by Shabeer, they inflicted the second all-out in the 30th minute to lead 29-25.As Jaipur successfully employed their plans, they were able to inflict the all out, but Bengal Warriors came back courtesy of Monu Goyat. The match was tightly contested after the break with both teams, especially Bengal, resorting to quick empty raids to invite the rival raiders for the do-or-die raids.
