Juventus are close to extending 20-year-old Turkish midfielder Kenan Yildiz’s contract until 2030, offering a €5 million annual salary. The club has rejected Chelsea’s €70 million summer bid and considers Yildiz practically unsellable.
When the summer transfer window saw Chelsea making a bold move for Kenan Yildiz, Juventus swiftly responded to secure their young Turkish star. The 20-year-old midfielder, who joined Juventus in 2022, has become a key figure for the club, even inheriting Alessandro Del Piero's iconic No.10 shirt last year. Chelsea reportedly tabled a €70 million offer during the summer, but Juventus made it clear that Yildiz is not for sale.
The club is now reportedly close to finalizing a new contract for him, which would increase his annual net salary to €5 million and extend his stay until 2030. This would mark Yildiz's fourth contract with the club in just three years, underlining his growing importance. Juventus sporting director Damien Comolli has described Yildiz as “practically unsellable,” meaning Chelsea would need to offer over €100 million to even have a chance of signing him.
Media reports suggest that while the Blues might return with interest in 2026, the new deal is likely to make such a move highly unlikely. Yildiz is expected to remain a central figure in Juventus’ plans, positioning him as the face of the club’s future ambitions in Serie A and European competitions.
