For the fans, the legendary duo of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez have come together off the pitch to launch a brand new football club in Uruguay called Deportivo LSM and the club, which begins its journey in the Primera D division, is not just a competitive venture but a heartfelt project born out of a friendship and a shared dream dating back to 2018.

With over 3,000 members already signed up, the project is aimed at nurturing grassroots talent and providing opportunities for the next generation of Uruguayan footballers and Messi, joining Suarez in this mission, expressed pride in contributing to the growth of the club, calling it an honor to be part of something built with such passion. Deportivo LSM’s infrastructure is impressive for a newly established club.

It features an 80,000 square meter complex with three youth fields, three professional pitches, and a stadium that can host 1,500 fans. Additional amenities include locker rooms, a gym, dining facilities, and a dedicated admin building. Suarez described the club as a "family dream" and believes that with Messi, they can shape a football culture rooted in development and values. This is more than a club — it’s a legacy in the making.
