Barcelona are one win away from sealing their 28th LaLiga title, possibly even before playing Espanyol on Thursday. Robert Lewandowski, who has scored 25 goals in 31 league matches, returns from injury. Hansi Flick's side, having already beaten Real Madrid four times this season, can secure the crown if Madrid drop points against Mallorca.

When the LaLiga title comes within touching distance, every detail matters and for Barcelona, the return of Robert Lewandowski has arrived at the perfect moment. Ahead of their potential title-clinching clash against Espanyol on Thursday, the Polish striker is back in the squad after missing three league games and the Copa del Rey final due to a muscle injury. With 25 goals in 31 LaLiga appearances this season, Lewandowski is second only to Kylian Mbappe (27) in the Golden Boot race.

Barcelona can be crowned champions before they even play if Real Madrid, currently seven points behind, fail to beat Mallorca on Wednesday. Otherwise, a win at the RCDE Stadium would secure Barca their 28th league title. Lewandowski recently returned to action for 30 minutes in the Champions League semi-final against Inter but missed the thrilling 4–3 El Clasico win last weekend.

Hansi Flick has now guided Barcelona to four straight victories over Real Madrid across all competitions this season, matching a feat previously achieved only by Pep Guardiola. Despite the personal milestone, Flick credited the team’s pressing and structure for their dominance, especially highlighting a 24-minute spell without Real touching the ball in Barca’s half. The coach also praised Carlo Ancelotti’s legacy at Madrid and wished him success with Brazil.
