Outer Delhi Warriors will play South Delhi Superstarz in the 22nd match of the ongoing Delhi Premier League 2025 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The game will be crucial for both teams to keep their hopes alive and in contention for the tournament’s playoff stage with a win in this game.

After facing a 12-run defeat against the Central Delhi Kings, the Outer Delhi Warriors will face the South Delhi Superstarz in the next game of their DPL 2025 campaign. In the last game against the Kings, the Warriors failed to chase the 162-run target, getting restricted to the score of 149/8 in the entire 20 overs. Earlier in the tournament, their game against the Kings was abandoned after losing to East Delhi Riders by five wickets. The Warriors also had a losing start to their campaign in the tournament, with a 40-run defeat against the New Delhi Tigers. Following this game, they registered their only win in the tournament, defeating Purani Delhi 6 by 82 runs, but they fell again to the losing track, with a 13-run defeat against the North Delhi Strikers. They will be eyeing winning this game and delaying their early elimination from the tournament’s current edition.

South Delhi Superstarz have also been through a dismal run in the tournament, with a horrific start to their campaign, facing three consecutive defeats. In their first game, the Superstarz won by five wickets against the East Delhi Riders. Later in the next two games, they lost to the West Delhi Lions and Central Delhi Kings by the margins of eight and nine wickets. Their second face-off with East Delhi Riders was abandoned due to rain in Delhi. In the previous game, the Superstarz registered their first win in the tournament, defeating the New Delhi Tigers by three wickets. So, they will aim to capitalize on the winning momentum and register their second win in the tournament.
