‌Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head returned to peak form as they powered SRH to 83/0 in the powerplay. The duo kept the scoreboard ticking with consistent boundaries, punishing Punjab’s bowlers in every over. Sharma brought up a blistering half-century in just 19 balls, while Head reached his fifty off 31 deliveries. Sharma looked especially composed and dominant, converting his rapid start into a brilliant century off just 40 balls and capped with a unique celebration.

 

On the final ball of the 13th over, Yuzvendra Chahal bowled a full delivery outside off. Batting on 99, Sharma got forward and tapped it to mid-wicket for a single, triggering a thunderous cheer from the Uppal crowd as he reached his maiden IPL century. In a heartfelt moment, he removed his helmet, pulled out a white paper, and held it up. The message read, “This one is for the Orange Army,” dedicating his ton to the loyal Hyderabad fans. The Twitterverse was quick to applaud his knock and celebrate the touching tribute on social media.
