BGT | Twitter amused as Lyon taunts KL for undeserved demotion in batting order

Australians and tough cricket go hand in hand. Off-spinner Nathan Lyon seemed to have taken a leaf out of the legendary Aussie's hats as he spiced up the contest at the Melbourne Cricket Ground by teasing KL Rahul for his batting demotion for the fourth Test in the Australia versus India series.

The Australian lower order assisted Steve Smith well enough to get to a century and propel their first innings total to 474 runs. In response, the Men in Blue lost Rohit Sharma early, courtesy of a false shot induced by Pat Cummins off a back of a length stuff. KL Rahul, who opened the batting in the first three Tests, walked in next to assist Yashasvi Jaiswal when Lyon took an opportunity to unsettle the Karnataka lad with a bit of chirpy banter.

Rahul tried to assess the pitch while taking guard following Rohit's wicket during the third over when Lyon chirped a few words into his ears. The spinner was locomoting to a different field position when the stump mic caught him whispering, "What did you do wrong to bat one down". Although Rahul didn't respond at the time, the Twitterverse found it funny and could relate to Lyon's thoughprocess.
