In the era of limited ball cricket, nothing enthrals the audience more than seeing their star batter hit colossal sixes. Such was the scene in the game between Trent Rockets and London Spirits at Trent Bridge where Andre Russell showed his vintage class and smacked Rashid Khan for a 107-meter six.

‌Trent Rockets enjoyed a solid batting performance, with Alex Hales scoring 68 off 42 balls and Tom Banton contributing 36 off 25. Their efforts propelled the team to a total of 166/4. In response, the Spirits struggled initially with Michael-Kyle Pepper falling to Imad Wasim in the seventh over. Keaton Jennings made a strong impression, striking at 172 and pushing the score to 41/1 after 40 deliveries. However, Rashid Khan’s three-wicket haul in the ninth over shifted the momentum.

When Andre Russell came to bat, he made an immediate impact with a massive 107-meter six off Rashid Khan. On the 49th delivery, Rashid bowled a tossed-up ball on off-stump. Russell expertly judged the line and cleared his front leg aiming for a maximum. His timing was impeccable as he sent the ball sailing over deep mid-wicket with tremendous force. The six was so powerful that it travelled 107 meters and landed well beyond the stadium gallery as Rashid wore a wry smile as he witnessed Russell’s colossal hit. The moment quickly captured the attention of cricket fans, who took to social media to discuss the remarkable shot.
