Sydney-based commentators stand down after fresh COVID-19 outbreak in Sydney beaches

Cricket Australia had to overcome a number of issues to get themselves ready for the Adelaide Test after South Australia temporarily closed their border to other states. After avoiding that fiasco, it seemed like the worst is already past them but they have now encountered a new one. 

A fresh COVID-19 outbreak in the northern beaches region of Sydney, which is slated to host the third Test between India and Australia, resulted in Cricket Australia taking precautionary measures. Cricket Australia might fly David Warner to Melbourne early from Sydney so as to avoid any border-closing situation and ask him to continue his rehab in the bubble created for the second Test. The board is also in dialogue with Melbourne Cricket Club to keep another pitch ready for the third Test in case Sydney fails to host the third game.
