Arjun Tendulkar helped England prepare for their upcoming tie against Australia as he was seen bowling in the recent practice session under the supervision of spin bowling coach Saqlain Mushtaq. In 2015, Arjun was part of the group of net bowlers that helped England prepare for the Ashes series.

Arjun Tendulkar, son of batting legend Sachin Tendulkar, marked his run-up at the Lord's nets during England's practice session on Monday ahead of today’s crucial encounter against defending champions - Australia.

Arjun, who was seen wearing a bright orange T-shirt, could be seen bowling to England batsmen under the watchful eyes of the team's spin bowling consultant - Saqlain Mushtaq. The 19-year old Mumbai pacer has played for MCC Young Cricketers against Surrey Second XI and picked up two wickets in High Wycombe last week.

This is not the first time that junior Tendulkar has bowled in the nets for England. Earlier, as a 15-year-old, Arjun was part of the group of net bowlers that helped England prepare for the second Ashes Test against Australia. The budding pacer has also represented India under-19 team against Sri Lanka in a youth Test last year and also claimed 19 wickets in just five games for Mumbai Under-19 in the 2017-18 Cooch Behar Trophy.
